Tiny Tot Cheerleading - Fall 2024

Volunteer Coaches: 

This program is dependent on Volunteers to help with drills and skills, however volunteer coaches do not need to run the entire session. If you would like to help coach please contact Payton Funk at Pfunk@pleasanthill.com

Location: Recreation Complex 

These 4 week programs are designed to introduce 3-5 year old's to the fundamentals of a sport. Children will be assigned to groups with volunteer coaches to help them with drills assigned by the Session Supervisor. These sessions will consist of 3 weeks of fundamentals followed by a scrimmage game the last week of the session, this is designed to prepare them for future youth sports programs and the overall enjoyment of the children!  Parents must remain onsite to assist if needed.

Youth Baseball/Softball FA 24 - Fall 2024

Youth Baseball / Softball FA 2023

PHPR Youth Baseball and Softball is a recreational and developmental league for everyone. Participants are guaranteed playing time in the field and at bat.  

Who: This for boys and girls 1st through 10th Grade, divided by 5 divisions separated by grade:  K, 1/2 grade, 3/4 grade 5/6 grade and 7/10 grade. 

When: 8/19 - 10/19

Practices/Games : Practice will be held weeknights, starting on 8/26/24.  Games will be played on Weeknights starting on 9/9/24.  Each team will play a 6 game schedule with a tournament at the end. All divisions play in the South Metro League. 

Equipment Included: Individual Team Jersey, Outdoor Field space, Several Practice balls per team, game balls on gameday, 1 set of catchers gear per team, 2 Batters helmet per team.  

Required / Not Provided:  Pants, Cleats (Non-Metal), Fielding Glove, Bat and Balls

Optional Equipment:  Individual Helmet, Batting Gloves, Catching Gear and Glove

Regular Cost:         6/10/24 - 8/5/24 

Coaches Meeting: 8/22/24 @ 7 pm - Community Building

The City of Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present our youth cheerleading program. Children in from kindergarten to 6th grade have the opportunity to learn and develop their athletic, social, and networking skills in a fun and safe environment. Our program is designed to promote community development and provide a memorable experience for all participants.

Youth Flag Football FA 24 - Fall 2024

 Youth Flag Football FA 2024

 PHPR Youth Flag Football is a 5v5 non-contact coed football league.  This is a recreational and developmental league for everyone to learn the fundamentals of football in a non-contact environment. Teams will consist of newer players and more experienced participants all competing together!

Who: This a co-ed league with 5 divisions separated by grade. The divisions are Kindergarten, 1/2nd grade, 3/4th grade, 5/6th grade, and 7/8th grade.  

When: 8/19 - 10/19

Practices/Games : Practice will be held weeknights, starting on 8/26/24 (Tentatively).  Each team will also have two hours of practice per week.  Games will be played on Saturdays starting on 9/14/24.  Each team will play a 6 game schedule with a tournament at the end. All divisions play in the South Metro League. 

Equipment Included: Team Jersey, outdoor practice field, Flags, and footballs.

Optional Equipment:  Shorts/sweats, Mouthpiece, gloves, individual football, cleats (Non-metal)

City Wide Garage Sale FA 24 - Annual 2024

The City Wide Garage Sale is coordinated by the Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department twice in a calendar year. In the Spring it will be on the 3rd Saturday in May and in the Fall the 3rd Saturday in September. A map will be provided online, as well as on the Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

Fee: $20 (15 words or less) & $25 (16 to 25 words - no more than 25 words)
